After each lecture, there will be a task sheet with exercises, from which you should choose and write 3.
Solutions must be written before the classes. The solutions should be ‘presentable’ — you should bring a laptop (or other device that can be connected to the TV) or send your solutions to the tutor in advance (technical details TBD). The solution you send may be a scan of handwritten work.
To ease the administration — if you have not sent your solutions, please fill out declaration. Declaring a task for which you do not have a solution or a solution is obviously wrong — there will be panalties.Unless otherwise stated, before the classes you should form pairs and read your partner’s solutions (they do not have to be solutions to the same problems!). You may also form groups of three or more, but each problem must be read by someone else than its author. The reading should be critical: the reader must present their comments during the tutorial.
During the sessions, participants will present their solutions, whilst their partners will present their comments, followed by a discussion.
Marks are awarded for the submitted solutions (on a declarative basis) and for the presentation. Marks may also be awarded for important contribution to the discussion.
Once all the lectures have been completed, each participant will be required to write a final assignment, which will also be assessed.
